Anemia

Deficiency in iron can result in fatigue, itchy skin and irritability. Ferrous sulfate, which is the most common iron prescribed, is hard to assimilate and causes constipation. To assimilate iron, the body requires vitamins C, E, B12, and hydrochloric acid (HCL). Take iron during meals. A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar during a meal can help absorb the iron. If you have a way to juice wheat grass or barley grass, drinking one to two ounces a day usually brings up the iron level in a few weeks.
